Refund Policy

These documents are general templates provided for convenience and are pending review by a qualified legal professional. Nothing in them limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. 24-hour refund window

We offer a full refund on a plan if you request it within 24 hours of the purchase or renewal payment. Refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

2. What happens when you’re refunded

When a refund is issued, the purchase is reversed: your subscription is cancelled and the associated server is stopped. If you simply want to stop future billing without a refund, cancel from your dashboard instead (see below).

3. After the refund window

Once the 24-hour window has passed, payments for the current period are generally non-refundable. You can still cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and you won’t be charged again.

4. Cancellation vs. refund

  • Cancellation — stops future renewals. Your server runs until the end of the paid period, then is suspended (your data is retained).
  • Refund — reverses a recent payment within the 24-hour window and stops the server immediately.

5. Prices and GST

All prices and refunds are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable.

6. Your consumer rights

This policy is in addition to — and does not limit — your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service has a major failure, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of the 24-hour window.

7. How to request a refund

Email support@playyourway.com.au from your account email within 24 hours of the payment, and we’ll take care of it.
